About me

Hi, my name is Gavin Hensley and I'm from Ohio! I'm a husband and a father of two wonderful children, and a self taught web developer & designer. I currently work as a tier two tech advisor at Concentrix.

I started learning how to program in 2021. I started out by learning Python, then html, css, javascript. Then onto learning different frameworks and libraries for css and javascript. It's been a goal of mine to become a programmer/developer since I was fourteen. I've been intrigued by tech since I was seven years old, when I received my first laptop.

I thoroughly enjoy learning new things, especially when it comes to tech. My journey of learning has been thrilling to me. I love spending time thinking of something new to design/create, and then watching it come to life as I'm just typing away. I've been troubleshooting software issues for almost as long as I can remember, and find joy in solving complex problems.

My other hobbies and things that I enjoy include spending time with my family which is my top priority, gardening, hiking/adventuring, and reading. I'm intrigued with astronomy and philosophy as well. Technology is a huge passion of mine though. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my blog, and check out some of my posts or projects!
